Ella found her way into our family in February 2006 when I picked her up from Sweden. Already as a little puppy there just seemed to be that "something" in her and that feeling has only strengthened with time. She is of good size with correct proportions, feminine with good bone structure. Ella has a beautiful head and expression and her ears are large and mobile. She is balancefully angulated and she moves well, true to the breed carrying her tail beautifully on the move.

Temperamentwise Ella is great - an everlasting "happy pill"! She is an energetic, happy, intelligent and brave little girl and she loves absolutely everyone she meets, specially children. She never has a bad day and just looking at her gives me a smile on my face. She learns very easily and she has some will to please and motivation to work. As everything is always super fun to Ella, her concentration isn't always as focused as it could be but nobody is perfect! She is truly a dog that is a joy to own!

My parents moved into Eastern Finnish forests in the summer of 2010 and they asked if they could borrow Ella for a while as a house watch dog to alert them about unfamiliar visitors and forest animals. After she made a very big noise about a passing bear and possibly even kept it away from the yard they asked me to leave her as their companion and watch dog. And as I saw Ella so happy there I had to say yes; she has really taken the farm as her own and enjoys immensely patrolling the grounds and working as "farm help". My parents are very generous with treats as well so that helps too!
