Ruu came to us in May 2004 when she was just a small red bundle from the north. That little red bundle grew into a brave, frisky, intelligent, open and beautiful young lady which took her place in our lives and in our family.

Ruu is a beautiful bitch with good bone structure and lines. She has some very fine details in her conformation that make her a special dog to me: she has an excellent head and expression and a good lower jaw; her neck and the neck arch are beautiful; her ribcage and top and underlines are great and she carries herself with excellent posture and she has always presented herself in the ring with a happy wagging tail.

A dog like Ruu is hard to find. She is an open, very friendly and a happy dog. Ruu is calm and steady and all through her life she has been a tight but sure dog and it has always been easy to live with her. Ruu loves he friends and family very deeply and she really loves children. She will also defend her family and she will always make sure that the "pack" stays gathered. Ruu is sure of herself and she is a confident dog and yet she is always ready to play and fool around with her friends. And a better lap dog and kissing buddy is yet to be found! Ruu has brought many new fans to the breed with her intimate and happy character and wide smile :)

Ruu achieved her championship title easily and after that she has retired from the show rings only to make appearances occasionally in our specialty show "Farkkushow". Occasionally she will appear also in the junior handler rings. Ruu will continue in the coursing fields as her activity. But really she expresses her greatest love by running free on the fields and forests at our summer cottage whiffing the scents of wild animals!
