Siiri had her knees examined and they were healthy - congratulations!

Onni attended Jyväskylä show 19.11. under Brenda Banburyn with the grade very good.

Aton and Shiva took part in the Helsinki oval track race on 480m October first: Aton 2/4 38,25s and Shiva 4/4 38,53s.

Hope's and Option's x-ray results came back from our kennel club with great results: both girls have healthy hips (BB) and elbows (0/0)!

Aton and Shiva took part in the Helsinki lure coursing race 25.9. with great results: Shiva was second with 477p and her second lure coursing CC and Aton was seventh with 441p after a point deduction for a false start. Congrats!

Our Setter girls had their health examinations done on monday and we are still waiting for the x-ray results from the Kennel club but both their knees were excellent (0/0) and hearts healthy!

A nice Pareesa "date" is again behind us! At Vantaa show 4.9. some Pareesa hounds popped in the ring with the Irish judge Gerard Cox and with great results: Honey, P. Benu Sat Ella, was BB2 with res-CC, Diesel, P. Ammon Sa Ruu, BM3 and Fate, P. Buhen Sat Ella, 3rd in open class with excellent. Cleo, P. Abydos Sat Ruu took part in our pique-nique as well. Thanks for the company! 

Option made her show debut in the same show under the Swedish judge Bo Wallin and with the grade very good from junior class. Option has her own page for her critiques and full results.

Bertta, P. Berenike Sat Ella, was shown under Harry Tast in Rovaniemi 3.9. with the grade Good.

Thanks again for my puppy owners for their activeness!

13.8. Oval track Finnish championships 480m Aton gained silver with 38,45s and Shiva 4/6 38,48s.

30.7. Hyvinkää 480m Shiva 1/3 38,15s and Amy, P. Arsinoe Sat Ruu, 3/3 44,43s.

20.7. Turku 480m Aton 1/2 38,99s and Shiva 2/2 39,06s.

13.7. Aton won the Helsinki oval track race on 480m with 38,04s and Shiva, P. Bersha Sat Ella, was third with 39,98s - congrats!

While we have been starting our maternity leave, Pareesa hounds have been active on three different grounds - s huge thanks to our puppy owners for their activity!!

Honey, P. Benu Sat Ella, returned to the show rings 22.5. under Nick Bryce-Smith from the UK with super results: BB2 and her very first CC and CACIB!

At the PH club specialty three siblings represented our hounds in open class: Onni, P. Badari Sa Ella, with VG, Honey with G and Fate, P. Buhen Sat Ella, returned to the rings with excellent and class 3rd.

Bertta, P. Berenike Sat Ella, made her show ring debut in Rovaniemi 26.6. under markku Kipinä with the grade very good.

We finally received Reubens x-ray results from the Kennel club and they were excellent: hips AA and elbows 00!

Aton, Pareesa Aton Sa Ruu, and Shiva, Pareesa Bersha Sat Ella, competed in the traditional winter lure coursing race last Saturday all the way to the finals and Shiva made her coursing debut with a win, lure coursing CC and 466 points! Congratulations! :D And Aton didn't do bad at all, he was second with CQ and 458 points, so they really had a tight race!

Onni was shown at Turku INT under the Danish judge Hanne Laine Jensen who didn't really think Onni was her type and he received the critique Good.

Pareesa Berenike Sat Ella's healt examination results have arrived! Her knees were marked as healthy (0/0) although the vet evaluated the other knee to be a borderline case between healthy and mild patellae luxation. Bertta's eyes were healthy and her hips were good (BB) and elbows excellent (00). It is pretty awesome that half of the puppies in our B litter have been so extensively health examined - thanks to the owners!

The year 2010 was filled with a lot of new and exciting things and most of all - activities! MANY THANKS to our puppy owners for taking such great care of the dogs and being so active with them!

- Pareesa Aton Sa Ruu: Oval track racing newcomer of the year and 4th best oval track racing Pharaoh hound. A great start on the racing track with two race wins and an oval track CC. 132 from a lure coursing race and grade Good from Open class.

- Pareesa Ammon Sa Ruu: hips BB (good), elbows 00 (excellent), eyes healthy, pigment dots. Knees 0/0, excellent. Heart examination healthy.

- Pareesa Amduat Sat Ruu: hips AA and elbows 00.

- Pareesa Arsinoe Sat Ruu: A new Finnish champion, 2 x BB2, CC and res-CC. 2nd oval track racing newcomer of the year and 13th best oval track racing Pharaoh hound. 2nd in her first oval track race.

- Pareesa Anuket Sat Ruu: Poland's show Pharaoh hound of the year 2010. Polish winner 2010. BIS3, 3xBIG, res-BIG, 5x BOB, 3x CACIB, 6x CC.

- Pareesa Benben Sat Ella: hips BB (good), elbows 00 (excellent), Eyes healthy. Knees 0/1,  Heart examination healthy.  2 x BB4. Lure coursing start with disqualified.

- Pareesa Benu Sat Ella: hips AB (excellent/good), elbows 00 (excellent), eyes healthy, grainy cloudiness around the nucleus. Knees 0/0. Heart examination healthy.

- Pareesa Birket Sat Ella: hips BB (good), elbows 00 (excellent), eyes healthy, pigment dots. Knees 0/1.  Heart examination healthy.

- Pareesa Buhen Sat Ella: hips BB (good), elbows 00 (excellent), eyes healthy, pigment dots and grainy cloudiness around the nucleus. Knees 1/1. Heart examination healthy.

- Pareesa Badari Sa Ella: BB2, CC and CACIB.

- Pareesa Bubastis Sat Ella: Very good 1st and Good from Junior class.

- Pareesa Bersha Sat Ella: 4th oval track racing newcomer of the year and 15th best oval track racing Pharaoh hound.
 

In our family we were happy to have our two Red Irish Setter girls Hope and Option. Our co-owned boy Reuben moved to Turku from the USA.

It is a great way to continue to the year 2011!
